First, turn your car off. Pop your gas lid open and unscrew the top. Put your credit card (if you'd like to pay that way) in the slot and take it out. You can also pay with cash. Select which type of gas you'd like (usually premium). Then take the nozzle out and put it into your gas tank. Squeeze the handle and you should hear gas start to enter the take. Keep holding the handle down until the meter stops. If you want to stop at a certain prize, don't squeeze the handle. Screw the cap back on and shut the gas lid. Make sure you pay and don't forget to take the receipt!

At today's prices you will have to go in and give them the money first, especially when your in a big city or along major routes of travel, such as a hwy, Interstate etc. take off the gas cap, lift the nozzle, insert into the receptacle and then squeeze the handle on the nozzle. You are just kidding Right?

take off fuel cap
take nozzle from station pump
put in car
pump until it clicks
put nozzle back
replace cap
go inside and pay
get copy of purchase
leave
