I have a 1968 volkswagen beetle engine that has a holley carburator on it and I am having trouble finding the same choke element to replace the one I have. So that is why I was wondering if they came with a Holley Carburator.

Thank you.

I didn't have the keys in the ignition and I've done the manual window operation via the door. I've also had two mechanics look at it and they're at a loss which means mucho dinero for me. Maybe I should just sell it and get an old pick up truck? Whats a good cheap car? I picked a great time to go back to school!!!!! AAARRRRGH!!!!

I have a 2000 New Beetle. When I turn the wheel in any direction, it's began to make a "growling" sound. Not scraping, but also not that typical "power steering" sound you normally hear. Any guesses on what's wrong? It seems to get worse the longer I drive it in a day.

Central locking in drivers side door will only lock drivers door remaining 3 doors stay open, however works fine if locked from passengers door.

Internal controls, in drivers door will work to lock all doors but won't open, this has to be done manually.

Electric window in drivers door, doesn't work, completely jammed shut!, however controls will open passenger window, but won't close, but will close if controls on passenger side are used.

Can anyone help a confused VW driver?

I have been having trouble with my VW Bug in regard to my gas mileage. When I called my dealer they said that I may want to change gas because ethanol may be causing me to get significantly less gas mileage. Is this true? I didn't even know ethanol was in gas, and/or that it could hurt my gas mileage.

I was told i need to bring the car in to activate the spare, but it's stuck in park and immobilized and i'm worried towing it like that'll damage the gearbox as it isn't in neutral. After the key fell i reassembled it, it opened the doors, but as i tried to start it, the display read immobilizer activated, now it wouldn't even open the doors without the alarms going off. How do i move it to the dealership safely?
