Close to a gallon was poured in. Is there a safe way to siphon it out (coolant being toxic) or will the tank need to be removed?

I recently purchased a 1983 VW Vanagon with Country Homes camping conversion. When the back hatch is open, if the bed is folded (and the back seat up), the bed sticks out the hatch. I think the previous owners may have reassembled the hinges/parts incorrectly at some point. Also, they forgot to give me the mattress...could that be the problem? Has anybody else had this problem, or can you email me a pic of how it is supposed to look? Thanks!

Ok, I will change my oil, and after 2000 miles the oil level would drop and the engine light sometimes just comes on. This happen almost every 2000 miles after oil change.

I have 2000 VW Jetta 5speed if this helps.

Even when I park my car in the garage over days, I do not see any puddle. I think my car drinks oil.

I'm 18 years old (live in california) and my parents are getting me a used car for my high school graduation. I love VW beetles, but i've heard horror stories of them breaking down like crazy! They get good crash test ratings, but i don't want one if it will break down on me a lot. I'm looking for one a couple years old (2002-2006) with less than 70,000 miles. At this point are they too unreliable?

I have been fouling spark plugs for a while now. I put a different carb on it and it ran good at first. Now it is misfiring and shooting flames out of the pipe when I am driving, but not if I rev the engine. The plugs are a burnt black color when they foul if that helps. Also, the engine is running a little too rich. The carb is a solex 34 pict 3, how do I adjust it to not run so rich? Thanks in advance...

I have a small hole, maybe the size of a nickle in the front of my carburetor on my 66 Bug. It looks like there should be something covering it, but nothing is there. When the engine is running and I push on the gas I can see a stream of gas going through the carburetor. What can I do to cover this, or does it need to be covered at all?

The engine is a newly rebuilt 1600cc. Any help is appreciated.

I recently bought a VW Golf from an independent dealer. They advertised it as a VW Golf GT TDI 130.

When i've been trying to get insurance, most companies think my car is the 150 version and others give me the option of selecting which it is, 130 or 150. The v5 doesn't reference the bhp figure.

The car looks quite low and strangely has silver GTI badges front and rear instead of TDI or GT TDI badges. It also has red sport seats.

Does anyone know how to tell for sure which version i have?

I have a 1972 VW Super Beetle. About a year ago it started leaking oil. But it's a different kind of oil leak. It wouldn't leak while it was parked but rather when it was running. I would put a quart of oil in drive it and shortly after the red oil light would come on. when i would open the engine hood oil would be dripping from the the hood itself as if it was spurting out from the engine. I just had the engine rebuilt and expected that this problem would be solved. Unfortunately it's still doing the exact same thing. I have no Idea what to do and neither does anyone I ask. I've heard that these cars are easy to work on but this problem has me stumped.
