Hello Everyone. I recently bought a Forrester for my wife and after driving it in the snow I loved it so much that I went out and bought an Outback ltd for myself. The only thing I havent been able to figure out is how to open the privacy slider for the rear sunroof. The front slider opens idependently of the glass. Is it possible to do the same with the rear?

I have a 2003 Subaru WRX sports wagon, and i was just wondering what the life expectancy was for one. It has almost 60.000 miles on it. What are some things that are recogmended at 60,000 to get checked or replaced? I drive the car a lot. I just want to know if its gonna crap out on me in 100,000 or 400,000. thanks for your help!

The car is a '93 Subaru Legacy L. Before I go and tear apart my car, I wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem with this model. There is an oil leak in the front portion of my engine. It is leaking onto the exhaust manifold, passenger side, near the front. I have tried to look for the leak but can't seem to pin where it is coming from. If you have had this problem, or have mechanical experience and may know where this leak is coming from, please let me know. Also is this common for this model?

Hope anyone can help. I have to buy a car next week..I just want to spend 2000.00-2500.00, Found a couple on Craig's list. The one is a 2001 Subaru, the other is an Olds Alero, love to have that one, but the price is about 500.00 more than I want...oops, sorry, I digress :) does anyone know ANYTHING about subaru's, never had one. Usually the problem subsides as the heater warms up the car. It is most pronounced in very cold weather (below 20 degrees) which makes it difficult to demonstrate when I take it to the dealer. Most information on the internet refers to problems with the Subaru WRX, a different model and engine than my 2002 Legacy L. Has anyone solved this problem?

I just want 0 miles cuz Im moving farther away and will be racking the miles up so. and plus my jetta has some querks that I hate.tranny makes wierd noises when I shift. and the idle of my car just drops randomly when im just sitting there...and balances itself out. like a misfire but I cant figure it out. are the regualr 2.5i impreza's quick? I have a subie without turbo (rs 2.5) which I'm thinking of upgrading to sti engine. Now I would like to know whether anyone has ever done that? consider my car use a different ecu is that means i need to buy a new ecu for turbo engine? should I get oringinal or after market brands? where can I find these people that can do the tuning. In my area, some gas stations are now using a 10% ethanol blend in their "winter formula." Does this have any implications for my 2007 - 3.0 Outback engine? Should I look for a brand that does not add ethanol? The octane rating is supposedly not altered by the ethanol, but the added ethanol is supposed to prevent gas line freezing problems.
