i ran into a phone box and dented my front left quarter panel. i havent seen anyone about it yet but thought maybe someone could give me some advice. 2000 subaru outback awd.

I have a 2004 Subaru Outback and I'm trying to decide what tires to get. The Bridgestones are stock, but Consumer Reports gave the Goodyears their highest rating. However, the test was from November 2005. The Bridgestones that are on there now are fairly loud on the highway, so I don't want a tire that's going to be any louder. Also, I live in Colorado so I do a fair amount of snow/ice driving in the winter; though not enough to warrant studded tires for the winter. Any opinions would be much appreciated, or suggestions for different tires.

its a well known fact that if Subaru made a 4x4 truck it would be the most kick *** on the market...


so why have they never done so?


they are held to a higher standard for 4x4 cars.. why dont they take that standard over to trucks?

ok... im curious as to what car to get. I love the look of each car and am looking to get a fast car that fits my needs. I want a quick car that has enough cargo room to put sports equipment, etc in. So, what I am asking is which will i miss more: by getting the wagon in speed or the cargo and comfort in an sti... also price and looks (opinions)

please do not say get an 08 because they are terrible looking

I am thinking of getting a used Subaru. All of the ones in my price range have 60-80 thousand miles on them. Are Subarus good cars? Do they last and last? I only drive 6 miles per day but, I still want something reliable..what do you think?

I own a 97 Subaru Legacy, and this is mind boggling to me. In the summer, the AC is on and the temp doesn't raise, but in the winter when it's cold, it raises pretty high. I have to turn the heat all the way up to bring the needle down. Someone help!

the father in laws forester electrical light came on. he has been told its the lombard sensors,he has apparently had them reset,but its come back on again? is this the correct name for these sensors,because ive tried googling it and came up with nothing.if any one knows or can provide a link i would be grateful,and are they expensive.cheers.

Just installed a boost gauge on my 2004 wrx. I have never seen a boost gauge on a car before so i want to check its working correctly. When the car idle's the gauge shows im pulling a vaccum but when i hit the throttle it jumps past zero to around 10 psi at full throttle. Is that working correctly?

I had the leather seat cover replaced in my 2007 Outback LL Bean after 5 months as the dye had really worn away and the surface cracked to the point that there was an actual hole in the seat. The new leather replacement (factory original, under warranty) is already showing similar wear after only THREE WEEKS. In this period, I have only put 400 (four hundred) miles on the car and I've only gotten in and out of the car about 60 (sixty) times. I am very careful about sitting down in the seat without sliding across it, especially after the first one developed a hole so quickly. I wear a smooth leather belt and I don't wear any crazy kind of abrasive or studded clothing. I have not even worn a jacket in the three weeks I've had my new seat. I don't understand why the seats have worn so quickly. Has anyone else had this problem? Do you have any suggestions for me?
