LOL! Are you kidding? It's a Subie dude and it's just a NA engine at that. Even if you put on headers, (does anyone even make headers for a Subie?) high flow cat, performance muffler (Magnaflow is my favorite) and larger pipes you might get 10 hp out of it. Trade it and do your homework and buy something that has HAULIN A$S HORSEPOWER! And then you can start modifying it.

Well you won't get a lot of noticable power gains with any modifications to an N/A motor. I know Borla makes a header for the legacy, very expensive, and almost any type of high flow cat and 2.25-2.5" cat-back will give you around 10-15(flywheel)hp.

O, and depending on what you want, most models have 2 different types of header available, equal length and oem style. Equal length will give you a little more power, but will take away from that boxer engine sound, in other words it will sound more like a honda with equal an equal length header.

first im goin to say dont listen to the 1st guy for the simple fact hes an idiot for even questioning does any1 make headers for a subie.....wow guy....yes obiously ppl make headers for a subie, but the thing is its goin to cost you a pretty penny for them cuz the whole setup and they arent the easiest to find, i settled for a 2.5" headers cost me about 400 and those r agency power, but thats my my impreza, which should work on ur legacy since it does have teh same engine. but for you um stick with about 2.25, 2.5 pipes and pretty much anything with a muffler will do u well, but i wouldnt go with a free flow because your NA so u do need the backpressure. but if you ask me theres only so much you could do with a pipe to get the max performance there all pretty much the same out there, and im just guessing your not takin to the track every weekend so just stick to something not so expensive that will give you a nice sound, but i probably would look around your area for some1 who does custom exhaust that would save you some $$$$
