Does anyone know how to clean the drains in a 2000 Subaru Outback sunroof? Mine started leaking spontaneously and the dealer suggested that clogged drains might be the culprit, but I don't know how to access and clean them. Any suggestions?

I just bought a brand new car and it's been HELL. First they balanced the tires. THen they let air out of the tires (they were overfilled!) but it still rides very rough and shimmies a bit at high speeds. I feel every bump on the road even driving 20 miles an hour. Any suggestions as I go back to the dealership for the THIRD time???!!!

I've had a 4-cylinder Legacy Outback for 6 months now. I thought I'd just "slow down a bit." After years and years with a 6-cylinder Accord prior to the Outback, I find that I'm still wondering if I made a mistake. The car has gotten faster as it broke in, but I still have to plan merges and entrances into traffic very carefully. I used to just put my foot down and be done with it.

I recently drove a turbo Outback. It is a fast bugger, but it's not really any different off the line, as the turbo is not spooled up at a stop.

I did some research after the purchase and I see the salesman was not 100% informed when he told me that the "ONLY" difference between the cars was the engine.

Can you compare the 4- to the 6-cylinder for "off the line" performance? How about mileage? How about the different type of AWD or any other features that I may have overlooked? If cost was not a factor, would it be worth trading my car for a new one with the 6-cylinder engine?

Thanks.

I'm interested in the power to easily climb hills (Santa Cruz Mountains), reasonable gas mileage, and comfort (I'm a large German, don't want to feel squished in there) . . . why would my son recommend a Subaru? What models might be nice for me?

This is a Subaru question!!! I hear the Subaru 2.2 engines to be more reliable. I dont hear alot of stories about the 2.2 engines cracking as the 2.5's do.

I'm thinking of replacing my old Civic with something newer but still used. I live in the northeast US, I like to ski but I need something reliable and I've heard good and bad things about Subies.

Subaru Impreza WRX or Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX.........

Which one do you like for;

Looks;
Speed;
Traction/Cornering;
Any thing else......

The Evo is obviously faster (as the Scooby is built to be cheaper), but the Subaru has a better AWD system and easily keeps up around backroads etc........
Plus I love the way the Scooby looks (more-so the 05 shape than the latest one) - the scoop is so much better than the little grills on the Evo. So, overall i'd say Scooby although for rareity i'd like to get an Evo instead, as everyone seems to have a Scooby where I live. Well, what do you think?
