the old body style has 300. i know the 07s have a little less than 300hp.

Horsepower on the Impreza isn't quiet 300. I think its aroud 290-297.

Yes, but the factory rating dropped slightly for 07 due to new federal HP rating standards. I believe it's 293 now...
