MY BOV only makes the whoosh sound. i like the whistling sound alot better

You'd have to get a different styled BOV. I'm assuming you just have the stock BOV? Do a bit of research (join some Subaru enthusiast forums) and find out more info. Some are louder than others and will each have there own distinct sound.

Different makes/modles blow off valves can produce a different sound. Whoosh is usually the normal sound, but the old HKS BOV for example gives a different sound completely.

You will have to get those blow off valves with a trumpet shaped outlet. Example Turbo XS FL blow off valve. Turbo XS produces one of the loudest blow off valve in the market.

the whistle on many vehicles is extra for the boy races to coach they have a rapid a real automobile with rapid doesnt promote itself, apart from the actuality its in front of the others, tension a porshe rapid, and that they dont! some boy racers without rapid get a cheapo exhaust whistler!
