I wanna buy an 07 Subaru Impreza non-turbo. I like the stick shift but I also like the automatic. Which has better advantages? Which would you prefer driving?

go to any rally cross meeting and you see evos and scoobies eaten and by the likes of rover metros, ford fucus and everything else out there. everyone seems to wonder round wearing their subaru jackets, to be honest i'd be embarest when you see them getting lapped on the track. off the track my tuned MG ZS 2.5 V6 not only looks sooooo much better but it leaves the afore mentioned escort look alikes for dead dispite beeing 2 wheel drive. my theory is that on play station games evos and scoobies are portrayed as good cars. anyone else realised?

i bought a '96 impreza (non-turbo) about 2 months ago. i think i just found out why i got it for such a great price.

included are 3 hyperlinks to jpg photos i took of underneith the car, behind the drivers side rear tire, of what i believe is the fuel tank. you can see there is a corrosion problem, and everything is wet. this fluid smells very much like gasoline, and has metal flecks all through it. please help me identify what the problem is, where the leak is coming from, what parts i need to replace, and if you have a chiltons manual, or any similar kind of book, pertaining to the parts (or know where one is, or know where i can get one, without having to pay over $25, if you know where i can buy one in the miamisburg, Ohio area), and other mechanics specific to this car. thanks so much for any and all help! i really appreciate it!

My boyfriend is really into cars in a big way. By contrast, I know nothing.

It's his birthday in a couple of weeks and I had the idea of buying him a model of his current favourite car, the Subaru Impreza. He recently had to sell his and was gutted, so I thought this would be a nice little momento for him.

I've had a quick look online and the thing is, his was just plain blue. I think he'd like a remote controlled one but all of those have stickers on. Anyone know where I can get a model of a plain blue subaru impreza?

I am continually impressed with my impreza because it just endured being side swiped by a tractor trailor and the only thing that was really damaged was the fender (trashed) and the splash shield (or inner fender liner or whatever its actually called). So I was wondering how to put a new one on. Do you have to use a heat gun or do you simply screw it on?

I have a 1998 Subaru Outback Impreza. The check engine light is on (it has arbitrarily gone on and off since i got it at 75 K miles). It now has 160 K miles on it but runs great. Recently, it has starting idling around 500 rpm. It flares to 2000 when i turn it on, which I have been told is good and normal, but it is supposed to idle at around 750 according to my mechanic. What causes a low idle speed on this vehicle?

My three dogs are suffocating in the rear seats of my Volvo. I'd like to sell it and buy a Subaru Baja. Can a mechanic really fix the Baja's windows if they don't roll down all the way? I heard it's the rear wheels and doors that prevent the windows from going all the way down. Thanks.

I know 93 octane doesn't exist in CA, but I would like to get the cleanest gas possible for my new car. Anyone had problems with a particular brand? Love a specific brand? My old car couldn't run on ARCO, but thrived on Chevron.
