My three dogs are suffocating in the rear seats of my Volvo. I'd like to sell it and buy a Subaru Baja. Can a mechanic really fix the Baja's windows if they don't roll down all the way? I heard it's the rear wheels and doors that prevent the windows from going all the way down. Thanks.

Due to the way the rear doors are partially over the wheel opening the windows in the rear doors cant go all the way down.Just the way they are.The Tribeca may be different, havent paid any attention to them yet in the shop.

I am not sure if someone can modify it for you but all Subaru's have a child safety sop on their rear windows so children can not go out the window easily.

if you are wondering about the rear facing window,
the baja is the only prospect

I think it is just the Baja that does.
