trying to hook up an XM radio to the external antenna, but can't find it. Thx :)

Ozy is right here. It is either in the rear glass in the fatch or the side rear window.

The antenna is located in the front, on the door

The antenna is built into the rear glass in the hatch or in the drivers side quarter glass.Looks like the defrost grid.

A lot of newer cars are utilizing a new technology with antennas.

Look inside the car around the windshield. Is there black tape looking stuff, maybe with little circles around the peremeter of the windshield?

If thee is, that's your antenna.

It's plugged into the back of your radio.Un-plug it from the back of your radio and plug it into your xm radio. It doesn't matter where the antenna is-the plug is on the end of the lead wire.
