How do you put on a splash shield?

I am continually impressed with my impreza because it just endured being side swiped by a tractor trailor and the only thing that was really damaged was the fender (trashed) and the splash shield (or inner fender liner or whatever its actually called). So I was wondering how to put a new one on. Do you have to use a heat gun or do you simply screw it on?

screws and/or special plastic snaps. you can get them at Checker, AutoZone, PepBoys, NAPA

They should just screw on
