Yes. Each of their models are equipped with AWD standard. The best resource to learn about their AWD system will certainly be the subaru website. www.subaru.com

The full-time 50-50 AWD with a semi-viscous center differential constantly delivers power to all four wheels. This system uses limited-slip capabilities to shuffle power back-front to make sure that the wheels that aren't slipping are constantly receiving power, all without the interference of electronics. The major competitors that use full-time AWD often use a 90-10 power split, delivering less power to one set of wheels to improve gas mileage, but in extreme conditions this fails to deliver the same performance. Also, despite "reactive 4WD" vehicles, like the Honda CR-V, being badged as "AWD", I have never driven or ridden in one where that system engages in time to make any real contribution to grip. And, from personal experience, my 16-year-old Subaru Legacy is able to handle the worst the Cascade mountains can throw, including foot-deep snow, ice, steep backroads in the snow, and freezing rain. And all on all-season tires without chains. The only thing better than a Subaru in the snow is a Jeep with a low-range gearbox, and I think the Outback will be able to handle whatever you ask it to do with style.

Yes. All Subaru's are all wheel drive, this is why they cost more than Nissan, Toyota, Honda, etc... Subaru's All wheel drive is distinct from any other car manufacturer. Why? See for yourself at www.subaru.com and look under any vehicle and click symmetrical all wheel drive.

it is better to check the feature of the particular model you are buying. Most recent subaru's are all wheel drive.
Just as a side note, all wheel drive is not required and it is wastage of car fuel. You need real time all wheel drive which will be activated when required(just like lectronic stability control being activated when required).
