I have looked time and time again but cannot figure out where you put the power steering fluid in my car. Is it at the bottom of the engine? Where is the fill spout?

i would like to know what you think a rough estimate would be for a 1979 Trans am. the cars body is in fairly good shape, no major rust or damage, just small dents and stuff that would be common for a car this old. the car has no engine or transmission. the interior is compleatly gone and the floor boards have been removed. this car would be a great project car. the reason i ask is cause this car is in danger of being crushed and i am thinking about purchasing the car and then reselling it. if i was in the position of restoring the car i would but i already have a 79' camaro and a 68' camaro that i'm working on. i would just like to know how much you think i could sell the car for.

P.S. I live outside st. louis, if that has any bearing on the cars value.

Now that Chevy decided to bring back the Camaro do you think they might consider bringing back the Firebird Trans Am? I would like to see them bring my car back. What do you think?

I'm so sick about my car right now I feel like I'm going to puke. Everything was perfect with it then all of a sudden on my way home today everything just went to hell. First, I had to floor it so I could merge into 55 mph traffic and when I did the engine just revs like crazy but it wouldnt shift. I almost got into an accident. It still shifts when I just drive it normally. is the tranny cooked? Then just to make matters wose my ABS and Trac off lights came on as I was pulling into my driveway (somebody had mentioned ball joints as a possible cause a while ago???), and the icing on the cake was when I went to shift it into park the shifter knob popped off. What the F*ck is going on???!!!

I am aware that Pontiac discontinued the Grand Am, those @ssholes, but is the Pontiac G6 supposed to be the new version of the Grand Am because it kinda looks like a Grand Am.

I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix, and when I go to start it, it starts sluggishly, like it's having trouble turning over. But here's a weird thing-- If I turn the key to
run" or wherever you usually put it to start the car, it has trouble turning over, but if I turn it to the "off" position, and start it that way, it starts like a firecracker.

Basically, from the run position, the key can turn maybe a half inch, but from the off position, maybe a couple inches, so I'm wondering why a start from the off position is working so much better. Thanks

I recently ran into a 1970 Pontiac Le Mans 4dr.,hard top.It has a 350 2bbl with 96K miles, and the guy wants $700 for it, It has all the original chrome except the back "LeMans" on the panel. It also has some cracks in the dashboard but what 30+ car doesn't. Is this a really good deal or am i just getting sucker'd? Just thought i ould just get some "expert" advice.

Thanks to you helpful people, I have bought a new thermostat for my car and I'm going to try replacing that to see if it solves the overheating problem in my car.

So...how do I get the old thermostat out? It is stuck in there pretty tight...do I grab it with a pliers and pull forcefully, or pry it with a screwdriver, or...?

Thanks for your help...please advise ASAP as I have a job interview I need to get to if possible, and this is my only vehicle...

I have a 1995 Pontiac Trans Am. If my exhaust manifold is leaking, can I experience HP/power loss? If so any idea how much? And if there is a power loss can the loss get worse over time?

When I floor the car, it still flies and doesn't appear to be missing anything. But when I am accelerating at more of a normal pace, it seems like the car is weaker than it should be. Could this be from the leak, or am I just pysching myself out???

I do plan on replacing the manifold gaskets, or replacing the manifold with headers but it could be a while so I am wondering the effect it'll have on the car in the meantime.
