I have a 1995 pontiac trans am I need to know if they started obd2 in 1995. Thanks

It should be OBD1 as only certain models went to OBD2 in '95. The connector is a tell tale if it's kind of a rectangle, it is definitely "1". Some of these had the trapezoid connector but were still "1".

look at the connector if its rectangular its 1 ifs its more like a trapezoid its obd2 or you can look under the hood where it states the emission info it should tell you some cars in 95 are obd2 some arent but i think yours is

obd 1 is yours obd2 didnt start till 96
