Where is the heater core on a 97 Grand Am?

will it be easy to change myself?

on the pass side behind the dash assembly and no unless you are an adept mechanic it not easy to change.

Passenger side internal Dash. This is a very complicated repair. There is no easy access door like the old cars. You have to disassemble most of the dash.
