This has just started happening sometimes. As I slow down to a stop, sometimes my brakes get weird and it feels like I'm sliding on ice for a few feet, then the car just stops. It only happens as I"m going really slow and I'm almost at a complete stop. Any Help?

You have a ABS problem with the car, although it is probably a speed sensor or wheel bearing in either the left or right front hub, it could also be a problem with the ABS pump or module. The only way to know for sure is to have it checked with a computer, or replace the hubs one at a time, the sensors are made into the hubs on these cars, and then, it still could be the pump or module.

It sounds as if your ABS is engaging when it shouldn't be. The first thing to do is to get the ABS scanned for any codes. If there are code(s) stored, diagnose and repair these first. The tendency on these types of cars was for a break in the wire close to the front wheel speed sensors. It is a simple enough fix as you can buy the connector from GM where you simply remove the connector and feed the new one through and plug it in. I would not just replace these unless you can determine they are broken. Some of these had hubs and sensor problems as well. Get some inspection done and see what you can find.

I just went through this with my car. It was an anti-lock brake wheel sensor.
