Now that Chevy decided to bring back the Camaro do you think they might consider bringing back the Firebird Trans Am? I would like to see them bring my car back. What do you think?

Through the upper ranks of POCI I have heard that it will be back, but I think that Pontiac wants to see the sales of the Chevy Camaro.

Being the way that society is with bringing back old things (because no one has talent anymore and can't do anything original), you can safely say that there will be a race to start "retroing" some of the big sellers in the past. I'm torn because i love the idea that a brand new, modern Trans Am spitting sweet exhaust into my garage again will be orgasmic. Now for the down side of it, I hate that these new cars are really not "muscle" cars. They look great and drive like your mom's Toyota, but to me these new copies have no balls or grit. I own a 79 Trans Am with a nicely babied 400 and I tear into new Mustangs and Chargers all day long. Sure the new cars look nice, but quite simply they look stupid starring into my pipes.

Pontiac announced that they will be bringing back the Firebird in 2008. It is based on the new 2008 Camaro but that remains to be seen if the demands for the camaro are high

I have heard the same rumors about the Barracuda to match the Challenger. Its possible, and I'd kinda like to see it myself (with some minor superficial modifications, as par with history)
