Let me look at my GM service Manuals. Section 6 Unbolting looks easy just getting the alternator past the subframe and sway bar from underside appears impossable. It looks like remove the airfilter assembly and lift it out the left side. MY K&N air filter does not get in the way very much. Start by disconnecting the battery. Good Luck
