Im about to buy a 2004 Ford Escape with 89,000 miles. Im getting what i would consider a great deal on it at $6,900. What i would like to know from anyone who's owned one from this year with a good amount of miles on it, is what problems have you had & what has needed to be replaced.

Have just been out with hosepipe and there is no sign of water entering around any of the joints etc. There is evidence of more water on the left hand side (looking from behind) so will have to keep an eye to see what is happening.

I saw the article below and it seemed a little farfetched. They say it's going to get 60 miles per gallon.

Please...I need your help. I took my 2006 Ford Taurus to the Ford dealership and they said nothing is wrong with it, even though they can hear and feel a clunk in reverse and in drive. The problem is when I leave every morning, I have to make a 3 point turn (U-turn). So I turn the steering wheel to turn around and can't make it. So I stop when I'm near the curb and place the car in reverse then back up and then it clunks. As I back up enough to make the 3 point turn (U-turn) I place it in drive and drive away when it clunks again. The clunk feels like it's coming from the front end of the car. What the heck is it???? PLEASE someone help me. My waranty is almost up.

BTW: The Ford dealership has checked the struts, motor mounts, and the transmission twice. They said, I just have to live with it.

I'm looking to buy a Ford Mustang. My question is which model should I get? I don't want the newer ones. I don't want the older ones. I want in the 1999-2003 range. What is your opinion on which is the best? I really like 2002.

(They don't do a good job of braking when this happens and I am affraid it may be the hydraulic pump.)

I was just riding in my dad's truck today and it made me wonder: What is the 'Low Range' button directly under the '4X4' button do? I've seen it on at least two vehicles before: A '95 F-150 and a '91 Explorer.
