It sounds like you have a leak in your rubber seal, it could be cracked, look for visible signs of cracking hard rubber could be at fault here. If this is the case you will have no choice but to replace your rubber seal. Don't leave this in this state, if you do you will find yourself having another problem later and that will be mold and mildew growing in the area that iwas wet for a long period of time and this will cause an odor that you will not be able to get rid of only by replacing any carpeting or other material that got wet due to the rubber seal being cracked or torn or just hardened and not making a good seal. Good Luck !

I even have had the two a a million.6 and a million.8 concentration as a enterprise vehicle and located that the a million.8 is defiantly the single to choose for. It has a greater efficient engine and you will experience the version on the open highway. The previous type concentration is lots greater valuable than the recent type concentration and from a reliability stand ingredient the early new type automobiles seamed to be dogged with digital issues. My a million.6 did one hundred thirty,000 miles formerly it became into traded in for the a million.8 and that i had no mechanical or electric powered issues. The a million.8 did concerning to an identical mileage and different than having the wing mirror replaced via a motor concern became into back fault loose.

Could be a leak in the rubber seal to the boot. All the water will collect in the well where the spare wheel is.

Could be these : Window seal on hatch or Rubber weather seal between hatch/bodywork.
Inspect the seals around the window nd hatch for damage. look for tell tale water drip marks on the paintwork. Remove the floor mat/carpet, remove the spare wheel and dry out the area completely. fold the rear seats down and get someone to sit inside and watch for water ingress whilst you pour water in localised areas around the window / seal areas. once you see which side / area it's coming from, you can then determine what you have to do.

How much water? if there is just a small amount it could just be from when the vehicle has been valetted and hasn't dried out.
If there is a large amount of water it could be the rubber seal around the boot edge or it could be from the seal around the light clusters.
The water leaking in won't be covered under a used car warranty.
