That will depend on ; engine. trans, axle ratio, & cab style..

It's going to be something less than the base weight of the truck... probably 4,000 or less since the towing vehicle MUST weigh more than the vehicle being towed.
There is a place on the placard on the door that gives the GVM or total gross weigh for the combined truck and towed item.

Gear ratio makes a lot of difference in the real world.. if you can get 3.83 or 4.10 gears you will have a lot more towing ability, as long as you are not trying to use such a small truck to tow something big..then the diesel duelly is what you need.

Depends on tire size, gearing and engine. My 01 F150 4x4 with a 5.4L, 17" wheels and 3.55 gears will tow 7400lbs safely.

10,000 lbs. with a tounge weight limit of 5000 lbs.
I have one and tow cars and small trucks and tractors...well it's not mine..but my wifes...but she does let me use it.
