I need to know all i can, the positives and negatives about 1986 ford broncos? like what is the most popular thing to go wrong with them and what thier positive sides are, im thinking about getting one cheap but i need to know if its going to be worth driving, can anyone help?

86 should have a fuel injected engine if its a v8 wont have much trouble out of them just have to look out for one thats been abused check the front end turn the steering wheel one way all the way and check the little ujoints going out the the tires also check that it goes in and out of 4 wd easy dont want it getting stuck other than that mostly pretty decent trks

I have three Broncos, one is a 86. The thing that most commonly goes wrong is the back window switch. You should definitely get it. Mine has over 300,000 miles and still runs strong

just remeber its old. There a good truck but I always recomend on any older vehicle is to change the timing chain. Allot of people wont do that and it breaks and it needs a new motor. I always replace the chain on any older car truck I buy and so far they all have been sloppy

great trucks alot of fun had many check the tail gate they rust and are almost impossible to find along the bottem of the tailgate

i have one its a great truck the back window motor is the only thing that doesn't work and rust but good truck

Rust.
anything else can be fixed, rust is a pain.
