My oil pressure light flickers on and off while the engine is running and I am at a stop. Recently the light is becoming solid instead of flickering, however it goes out completely once I move the vehicle. What does this sound like to you? My car has 82,000 miles on it.

I sunk the nose of my 2000 dodge into a water hole this weekend. past the headlights and an angle which water stopped at mid front doors(at the bottom). after being snatched out i realized i had no reverse...then no drive!!! After i let it sit for a few minutes i got it back but not for long, drove for 5 miles, against my better judgement. Obvcourse sinking it was against it too :)

Found pepto bizmol in my transmission, oil a little milky too.
Also looks like trans front pump is now leaking. Has anyone recovered without replacing/rebuilding trans? and can the Average mechanic(with a manual) rebuild?

I need to junk a 89 Dodge Spirit in Orange County. She still runs but the transmission is going. Where would be the best place to junk it and get the most dollar.
Or, would it be better to donate this vehicle, would it be excepted in this condition, and right it off...??????

I purchased the van a year ago and the mechanic told me that he "disconnected" the ABS system and that I shouldn't have a problem with it. I used it this morning and my brake pedal is hard as a rock!!! There is brake fluid in it. I can't break without using 2 feet to stomp on the pedal. What could be going on??? I need advice and soon. The pedal is hard wheather the van is on or off. There isn't any give at all.
