im getting a new exhaust system for my 72' dodge charger and i was wondering if i put a dual exhaust in the back would that be louder then sidepipes, where should i put my exhaust system in order to be the loudest it can be, and which ones are the best ?

The loudest? Need to put in a cross over pipe or a x-pipe to balance the exhaust. Loudest depends on type of muffler, preferably a turbo or header muffler and the diameter of the pipe preferably 2 1/2 - 3 inch. Big block or small block engine?

If you want it really loud put a set of headers on it and then bolt cherry bomb mufflers up to the headers and no other pipes, guaranteed it will be loud enough for you and all your neighbors and you will probably get the attention of your local law enforcement too.
