Yes, several! First was a 1968 Dodge GTS 383 with a 4 speed. It was later modified from stock with a 310 duration .480 lift Erson cam, Weiand manifold/Holley, JR under the fender headers, Mallory ignition, wheels, etc. Very quick with 3.91 gears, and ran well with bigger engined cars with more displacement. Next was a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T SE 440/4barrel and A/T that was stock but good for about 135mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats during an impromptu stop during one vacation! Then a 1970 Plymouth GTX 440 A/T that had twin Air Research turbo chargers in a custom fabricated setup, which was absolutely the fastest 50-100mph car I have driven. Then a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 426 Hemi 4 speed, Dana 4.10, Top Banana with black interior, with Hooker headers, Edelbrock Rat Roaster manifold (gives it a radical sexy idle due to the open plenum design), Cragar SS mags, traction bars, and is the highest evolved muscle car that Dodge did in my opinion. I drove a 1967 GTX when I was looking for another car and felt it was a great ride but we could not agree on price on that occasion! Luckily, I have been able to retain the Challenger, which may turn out to be one of the smarter things I have done as the Challenger returns to production in 2008! Maybe bookends are due?

I had a 1968 Hotrod-type Mustang with the limited slip diferential, 4 barrel holley carburetor, tubular 8-2 exhaust with freeflow silencers, and the whole enchilada (aftermarket machined valves, harder springs, flat forged pistons, custom camshaft, lightened flywheel, etc and evrything was perfectly balanced. Oh! I forgot! And all perfectly chromed and/or polished!
It was my daily driver when in high school.
My brother used to play jokes on me everytime we stopped for the red light, 'cause the engine felt as It was shout down. No noise, no sound at all. It changed completely as I pressed the pedal to the metal. Geez! How I miss that feeling, being pressed firmly to the seat and watching modern dogs from the rearview mirror trying to catch their breath. At least they could catch that.
I'm talking ancient history here, you know? I made a mistake and traded that beast for a brand new Honda CX-500 Turbo motorcycle, the first of only 6 imported to my country (Mexico) which was very impresive and almost sent me away with its acceleration when the turbo got into action. Before that, it was a very heavy and boring bike which shared goldwing's dimensions and frame (very heavy steel frame, btw)
Now I have 4 children and a Honda Accord EX 4dr sedan. Yeah. With an aftermarket freeflow intake and exhaust system, no catalyzer (ha ha ha) NGK Iridium Spark Plugs, MSD ignition system, and that looks as a peaceful citizen (except for the air intake on the hood and the bmw-style outtakes on the sides) So the local youngsters who race on saturday nights laugh at me... until they realize they can't even get any closer! Right now it's collecting dust, as doctors dont let me drive very fast for now (I had a heart attack last year)
I forgot to mention: This little gem has outrun a lot of old Muscle cars, but I still can't beat sport Beemers! (BMW, ppl)

1970 Plymouth Barracuda. 318 punched 30 over with a Competition Cam and Holley 350 CFM. Chrysler 727 slapstick automatice with a B&M shift kit. Peeled the half vynil top and repainted the original olice green to candy apple red. American Racing aluminum slots with fatties on the rear. This resto was the courting period for my boyfriend and I. I got him the Direct Connection HEI conversion kit for our first Christmas. He bought me a Holley 450 for my '70 Cuda 3836 Grand Coupe. We sold the GC because the floor was rotted through. My stepson still has the 318.

I had a 69 Dodge Dart Swinger 340 that I owned in high school and converted to race in the old SS/I NHRA class a couple of years. After that it sat in a garage until 1995 when I decided to fix it up for the street. I built a milder engine and conversed it to automatic, with Barracuda disc brakes and and drum's (Strange axles in rear) to change to big bolt pattern.

I have a 1967 Corvette. well ... my dad does. we worked on it 2gether. it is a teal blue and a 550 horse motor. he has known it since 1967. his best frind's dad owned it, then he died and gave it to my dad's best frind's brother. then he sold it to my dad in 93. he ran it into a fence in 1994, and took a gash out of the front end. just last year we started to restore it to the state it is in now. we spent 20,000 on the whole shebang. even with buying it.
we also have a 1969 roadrunner. we took it out a co worker's boyfrends air conditioned Basement were its been at since 1971. we have all the parts so were rebuilding it from all the origional parts. it is in my grandfather's locker warehose. it is champion red, and it is the second coolest car ever (next to the vette)
