i am 14 and i LOVE the srt/4 and i want one as my first car in a few years.Would it be a good car for a first car?if i can find one with low miles and runs good?

The car itself is great for that price. However, I don't personally know you, so I can't say whether you're the responsible type who won't street race and end up wrapping it around a pole.
If you think you can handle 230hp to the front wheels, it's great....Handling's good, torque steer is mild, fuel economy is nice, and they're pretty reliable.
IMO 2004 was the best year...

They are good cars, but the srt-4 is discontinued. The Dodge Caliber SRT-4 is supposed to take it's place. I know, I hate it too. I cannot find a brand new srt-4 neon anywhere. sorry man

Sure it would be a good car. We can ask...what is a good car? It's anything that you think you would be comfortable driving and love to do so. I say go for it.

Great idea in theory, but by the time you could get one you will need deep pockets for one that has not been trashed out. Sadly time does not always favor youth.
