my book says to diconnect the ignition control system, A single wire sealed conector tan with black stripe comes out of wiring harness below heatercase! Ive looked inside and out .
I have found a tan and black stipe wire in the wire harness but no connect? It must be easy to get to ,when the shop does a tune up they have to access it. don't they?

From a previous question and other research, it is more than likely that my filter needs changed. (It is stalling when stopping.)

I recently ( 4 weeks ago) had my oil changed and filter. While I was driving and would stop at lights and signs, the oil pressure light would blink on after 4 seconds of being stopped and then would go off and flash back on. It would do every other time I stopped. It was a hot day. I checked all fluids when the car was cool. All looked okay. Thoughts? There is no spots or puddles under the car or on the engine

It doesn't do it all the time, but if I stop quickly it stalls.

I'm thinking about getting a summit racing top end performance kit. This includes heads, manifold, and carb. I am a beginner. Is it as easy as bolting this stuff on? Or should I use a mechanic? Will I need to change anything else in the motor for it to run smooth?

I have a 95 s10 blazer making grinding sound when first started. It also keeps making the grinding sound when driving after first start, but stops after less then a minute of doing it? Then when it seats for some time, and it does it over again. The trans seems strong to me, so i don't think its the problem. I was told maybe alternator or power steering going bad?

Thanks

Is there someplace on the web that I can find the wiring diagram for a 2000 Chevy S-10. The left rear turn signal & park light stopped working. All other lights work fine. It's not the bulbs. We followed the wires as far as we could without the diagram.

I'm trying to get the best milage I can out of an s-10 blazer 4x4 with a 4.3 v-6. I'm changing the fuel filter and air filter and it runs fine, but will bosch platinum plugs help with my milage at all? I'ts not missing at all, but seems to run much better on higher octane as it has gotten up in miles.

And I do know there are vehicles out there that will run better, but as a sportsman, I need the 4X4, so don't lecture me about a rice-burner getting better milage.
