Wih out more info, it's hard to tell you whats wrong..
Gen hard cold start up probs comes from...
Spark plugs worn
Choke not working right
Battery in need of replacing

Is this a duramax? Because in mine the fuel sludged up and it started hard and wouldnt go over 25 mph.

It could just probably be the battery you probably need a new one
