I rented one of these a couple months back, and it registered 42 MPG at 60MPH and an average of 31MPG overall.
Keep in mind I am a very conservative driver who starts slowing down when a light turns red ahead, unlike MOST people who race up and slam on the brakes at the last possible moment.

Spelled "Cobalt". Mine averages about 22city/33highway. They're pieces of crap though. Too much plastic. Not enough power when operating the air conditioning. And gas mileage suffers about 2-4mpg while ac is operating.
