Sounds like a fuel pump,filter problem. If that's not it then check for spark.

It can only be three things, lack of fuel, no spark, or the computer data is corrupt or non-existent. The easiest thing to do is to check for spark outputs when the motor is turning over at all the plug wires. Then check for fuel pressure at the fuel rail on top of the motor at the pressure port that looks like a tire valve. You need 55 psi or so. To check the data of the computer you will need a scanner so you will have to either borrow one or tow the truck to a place that has one. It is usually not the computer though. The biggest cause of this is a faulty fuel pump, but you have to check everything to be sure and that means the electrical circuits back to the fuel pump as well. Good lluck.
