po125 coolant temp for closed loop fuel control. and po118 engine coolant temp circut high . can sombody help me.what part do i need to fix, thanks s mcnamara

replace the coolant temp sensor, clear the codes and retest.

Better have this 9 year old system proffessionally back-flushed and the sensors pulled for extra good cleaning.Have the system re-filled with factory coolant to restore the factory operational parrameters-(including a new thermostat that is pre-tested for operation). G.m.'s degrade quickly when ignored beyond factory service intervals-some make it further away but fail in a big way!

Start with checking and replacing the thermostat if needed. Make sure the coolant level is correct, and there are no blockages in the air flow through the radiator. Make sure the cooling fans are operating as needed. Check and replace the temperature sensor as needed. Check the hoses, especially the bottom one for problems and replace if needed.
