Reason why i ask, my 1988 Chevy Silverado TBI 305 5.0 V8 "SOMETIMES" hesitates and or will shut off- after a stop or even while at freeway speeds. it STARTS right back up- without a problem.
I just spent $127.53 For a OBD1 diagnosis- Nothing found everthing is in order-PER Mechanic...But found a "clogged Fuel Filter". trouble seemed fixed until the next morning...
If i let off the accelerator, and "pump" it a couple times it seems to clear right up and drive strong.
I will get a second OBD 1 Diagnosis at a different Repair shop and see if he can find my Truck trouble.
If anyone out here has an idea or a opinion please tell me everthing i might check or do!
Complete tune-up 4 months ago, never had any trouble, NO leaks, This trouble just started last week...
Cat Converter has a broken weld/leak- nothing further "enitire Truck"
