Everyone says turn to channel zero to find the station number, but when i press the xm option, it simply says 'not available' so i cannot turn to any channel. How do i find the radio id so i can set it up?

The XM radio ID is unique for each individual radio tuner, not for different vehicle models. Usually the XM tuner box is a separate unit from the in-dash radio; your vehicle may not be equipped with an XM tuner, or it may not be working correctly. (Do you have an XM antenna on the roof?) Contact your dealer to find out if your car is equipped with the tuner, or check your owner's manual and paperwork for information on setting up the service.
