When I try to play a cd in the car player it comes up with the message "CD mech " I have tried numerous cds but none play. Anyone know what my problem is ?

We bought the car yesterday and the code was given, however, we can turn the radio on the and the first 0 is flashing but when we press the first number of the code, nothing happens. Could anyone tell me how to enter the code.

I currently have dual 12'' 1100 Watt Subs. The onld ones. In a box just sitting there in my trunk. I need an amp. My friend just told me to go to Walmart and buy the 1000 Watt amp.. What do you think about the set up? I kinda know how to install all of it. But i just need to know if its good set up or am i just waisting money. Also i HAVE TO get a fuzz buster. I NEED ONE! haha

It did it in my previous car, Mum has the same trouble in her car. It will hang up on a track or just stop playing or sometimes just spit the cd out. Is it making a judgement on my chosen reading (listening) material?? Should I buy a fancier system and have it installed? Or should I just quit work so I would have time to sit and read the books?

Yesterday morning when I pulled out of my driveway, I turned on my car radio, and on the LED display, instead of the time coming on, it says "LOC" and nothing will work. The radio, the CD player, nothing...Is there anyone who knows what might be going on? I just rolled over my my warranty miles and do not have much money to take it to the dealership and have them look at it for however much they charge...any help would be appreciated.

Dual xd6100....this cd player wont play ALL brands of CD-Rs and the ones it does play stops working towards the end of the disk....Also on all disks it takes a ton of time to skip to the next track....even on store bought CDs.....whats the problem and how can i be solved? thanks

im looking for good affortable speakers for a 99 eclipse gsx. what i really want to do is replace the right speaker on my right door because it seems to be blown or something because when u can hear the bass, theres a loud vibrating noise from that speaker. also if i get new speakers n subs, would i have to modify the places to fit the speakers n subs in? is a new stereo system important? or could i just stay with the stock one

I bought the right wiring harness but now what? Also what should I do with the ground wire? On the stock unit there was a seperate plug where the ground wire was. Detailed help is appreciated.

Why is it that some people will answer a question about car audio, only to answer wrong. Wrong enough to cause damage to people and/or property.

I just put a new cd player in my car and everything is connected ok but my subs only work when i am playing the radio but when i am playing a cd they dont work.
