Why is it that some people will answer a question about car audio, only to answer wrong. Wrong enough to cause damage to people and/or property.

IF YOU DON'T KNOW, DON'T ANSWER. GUESSING WILL CAUSE INJURY OR DAMAGE!!!

This has been a publice safety announcement brought to you by someone who actually gives a crap!

P.S. There should be a test for the technical categories that people must take to answer.

yea i have heard people tellin some off the wall crap, like hook up 2 diffrent amps to 1 speaker, 2 diffrent channels NOT IN MONO up to 1 sub. I dont get it, what do you get from this??? are you there with a video camara to record the fuc up when it happens, NO so what mature enjoyment can you possible get from this, you people are really immature and selfish, I hope you take your stuff to a shop one day and someone that you purposly told to do something stupid works there and fucs your sht up

Crazy grl dosnt really get it, this stuff isnt as simple as well i wonder what will happen if 120 volts runs through my body. if it was everyone would be installing their own stuff with no problems, nobody wants to just jump into something they dont know about when they just spent 500 to 2 or 3000 on a sound system when one wrong wire could send half of your equip up in smoke.
I went that route and ended up with a fist print in my trunk lid it really wasnt fun or funny and if someone like these smartasses had told me something like that and laughed when i did it i would have beat their head in with the still smoking amp. I had a mother and her little kid looking at me like what hells wrong with him cause i was in the parking lot ranting and raving to myself and beating my trunk lid while smokes pourig out of the trunk(it was funny though, they looked like is he ok or should i call the fire department) . I have done installs a few times since and pretty much got it down but even then but you still go through and double check and recheck everthing before you livewire your stuff.

Probably because they don't know they are wrong. I answer the questions in the forum based on my personal experience. I was taught by some of the best I've ever met. But I am sure I am still wrong on occasion. We all are. I broke a few things because I didn't have the correct information before. It happens. Open forums like this will hopefully help us all.

I wouldn't trust a stranger's advice on something serious that has to do with money. Half the poeple that respond are being sarcastic

Ummm...If someone told you to put your finger in a light socket, would you do it? You just have to use common sense with this stuff.
