How many people are disturbed by people in other cars playing their "boom-boom" bass systems. It is very inconsiderate of those people. When they are next to me, the boom completely drowns out my music. Even at home, the noise can drown out my music.

My problem is basically that I've wired up a powered subwoofer in my car and it is working fine except for the fact that the remote on wire that is connected to the head unit from the amp is working in the opposite way it should. When I turn the head unit on the amp powers off and when the head unit is switched off the amp powers up. I've disconnect the power cable for now so that it isn't powered but that one small problem prevents me from using it.

I've also tried wiring the amps remote on wire into the ignition feed on the head unit but that didn't help.

Anyone got any ideas?

I herd somewere that subwoofers shouldnt be pushed hard for like the first 10-20 hours thier lives.
that they need to be broken in first.
than after that they'll be fine to bump.

Is this true????

I listen to metal and was thinking about replacing my stock speakers with aftermarket ones with a 4 way amp, and putting 4 6x9" full range speakers with another 4 way amp behind the back seat instead of subs. Im not really looking for a lot of bass, I just want my music to be louder and more full. And what is a good brand of speaker and amp. Any advice would be helpful.

I want to get some subwoofers for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. And I was wondering what would be the best size, I was thinking about getting some 10" kicker L7s, because of how fast the bass hits with metal music, I thought 12" or 15" would have to long of a bass response, and it would miss beats. If anyone has any idea about a good size, and a good sub, please respond, and list a good amp for the subs too.
