Boy with a lifeless knife, bypass purchase a clue and hear some reliable subs for a transformation, Xplodes sound like puke. suitable Head instruments are: Alpine (for music) then Pioneer and Kenwood - this could be your decision - GPS and DVD, greater powerful than Alpine because of the fact the monitors are clearer and cleanser, yet those are your precise 3 manufacturers. audio device, amps, subs - Will all count number on your the listener.

There is no "best", only preference. What I like may not be what you like. Go to a pro audio shop and grab a listen. Some of the better shops will demo a system in your car so you know exactly what your getting. Your ears are your best critic.

Be aware, what you hear in the store may not be what you hear in your car.

The box the subs go in is also very important. The wrong box will make the subs sound like crap.

Here is some info on boxes:

IMHO, 400 watts RMS (200 watts RMS X 2) total is just right.

Dude everyone is listing all these mainstream brands which there is nothing wrong with but brands like dd or re have stuff that kill JL or Eclipse. If you are really interested, sign into a few forums and ask what is some of the best stuff they have used. You also dont give any parameters in which we can give you an answer. Please be more specific.

it really depends on what you're looking for. some companies make speakers only, amps only, head units only, etc. then some larger companies make everything. even larger companies put out a high-end line and a lower-end line.

whatever it is you're looking for; and only considering high-end stuff:

1. JL Audio
2. Alpine
3. Clarion Pro Audio
4. Rockford Fosgate
5. Eclipse

No "Best". Everyone has different biases. Go to the stores, and listen to what you think sounds best. Granted, all demos have a different sound. Personally, I am partial to Alpine and Infinity.
