Summary: i have had this amplifier for a year now and have nothing but compliments. this remote bass control is priceless in getting the most bass from your music evertime without distorting or robbing yourself of power. while most amps have the gains set from the trunk of the car and it doesn't change unless you get out of the car and change it. this amp allows you to do that from the driver's seat while you drive so you get it perfect every time. so far i have never turned the gains above 1/2 and the power it kicks out is nuts! i have it hooked up to one 12" sony explode sub and it is louder and hits harder than most other dual- sub systems so i have never needed to get a second sub (although the plan is to get a second and turn this amp all the way up). all i can say is rockford fosgate can build a hell of an amp!

rockford amps are built to last and built to hit hard. good choice witht he amp. itll power ur subs fine. good luck man
