i searched crutchfield and this is what it says about my vehicle Because your vehicle is factory-equipped with a special sound system, you will need to purchase an adapter that allows you to keep your factory door chime (needed to keep audible safety warnings functioning) and provides a switched 12-volt power source for your new radio. Crutchfield strongly recommends that you not replace this vehicle's factory radio without using a recommended adapter.

First you have to find out what factory system your car came with, some of the upgraded factory systems like in some gm cars tie in to other electrical systems and can cause problems if removed or replaced. I would check with the pros at your dealership or a reputable car audio shop to be sure.

you could immediately replace it with the ford equivalent cd participant, that you'll get from the important broking service and pay a fortune or i ought to attempt ebay. you should also purchase a blanking plate and a cd participant. the tape decks in fords are truly tremendous, two times the size of time-honored, and for this reason you want the blanking plate to fill in 1/2 the gap and then the classic length cd participant stacks on suitable of it.ie kenwood, pioneer or the different respectable producer. as stated before the ford cd participant is an same length because the tape so ought to bypass immediately in, desire this facilitates

You only need amps if you are upgrading the speakers. If you want to upgrade the headunit, just put it in and hook it up to your existing speakers, it should be a big deal, quite simple actually. Have fun!!

all CD/radio's (head unit's) have amps in them weak ones but they have em' it will make you speakers sound much better, and yes you can still change it with out changing speakers but once you change it hear the difference in it you will want new speaker trust me they mostly can handle 45-50W you'll be ok with stock speakers if you dicide to change the speakers go with pioneers 3-way,

Yeah it will still make it sound better because it will have more power than your factory radio. Just make sure you get it done at a reputable place.

yes you can. if you plan on buying amps,be careful that you don't buy an amp that will blow out your speakers.unless you plan on buying speakers that can handle more power.
