bazooka tubes are very cheap and no good
jl audio is good but very expensive
planet audio is a good value brand
kicker is good
audiopipe is good but more of a slp based sub
look around a listen to many different subs and see what sounds good to you

I wouldnt go with bazooka. Memphis is my thing but there are several other good ones. JL audio, MTX, Diamond, Kicker...I personally dont like Rockford Fosgate, Pioneer, Bazooka. Its mostly personally preference but if you go with memphis you wont be disappointed.

Audiobahn is your best bang for buck, other good ones are Kicker(decent but beatable with audiobahn) JL audio (very good but very very overpriced), Eclipse, Pioneer(their top sub currently holds the world spl record)

JL audio, MTX, Rockford Fossgate are good as well as Alpine. It depends on personal taste so maybe you should go check them out at a stereo store in the sound room to see what your ears like.

memphis audio subs have won every car audio award in the past 3 years. they are reasonably priced and have a lifetime warranty on all speakers, amps, and subs. that means if you mess it up purposesly or accidently they will replace it no questions asked. trust me on that one.

tubes suck. get pioneer premier shallow mount subs. they need about 3.5 inchs to be mounted in. you have to hear these thing to believe these things. very very impressive.
