I just put a new cd player in my car and everything is connected ok but my subs only work when i am playing the radio but when i am playing a cd they dont work.

You probably have a phase cancellation problem. This is caused by one of the subs having the + and - connections reversed. If you are running a pair of subs, change the polarity on only one of the speakers. It does not matter which one as long as both are wired the same way. So if one is reversed, changing either one will make both the same. Even though the markings on your speakers might say one thing, they could really be inadvertantly reversed in the internal wiring. I once had an amp that had wiring that was incorrectly marked and I could not figure out why I kept blowing fuses.. so it is not uncommon for a sub cabinet to be marked wrong.

you have the remote power wire connected to the power antana wire.
on the back of the radio wire harness there are 2 blue wires one solid blue one is blue with a stipe. disconect the the remote wire you have connected and reconnect it to the other blue wire and it should work fine
