My brother wants me to buy him a Subaru WRX here in the US so he can take it to Mexico. Has anyone done this before? Is it a complicated process? Would I still have to pay taxes on the car when I buy it here? Would I need to register the car? He's looking to drive it down once I buy it.

I bought a car back in april. I put in 3000 dollars and my ex put in 3500. After finding out she was still seeing her ex, I took the car back from her. The car was never registered. I was the one who purchased the car from the seller. I deposited the $3000 in her account so she has a reciept for $6500 where her name is the remitter. However, when I bought the car from the guy, he gave me an "open title" which basically means that he signed the part he needed to sign as the seller but the buyer part was left blank. I insured the car on my name the day I bought the car. I just registered the car last week on my name. Of course, she is now taking me to court and plans on saying she paid all the money. Do you think the judge will award her the full 6500 just because she has the reciept showing she paid for the car? Like I said, the only reason she was able to pay that kind of money is because I deposited $3000 in her account. She plans on commiting perjury. My plan was to sell the car and

I bought a 2006 nissan altima last november. It is the first car that i have personally purchased, and everyone says i got ripped off. It didnt come with all of the things i wanted but the dealer said that was the best he could do. i decided that i want to trade it in because if im going to pay for it i should be compleatly happy with it. before going to a dealership again i want to be prepared on what to ask and be aware of. im not sure if im suppose to refinance my car first, will my payments be higher on a different car?, should i wait longer before doing it? do the miles on the car matter? will i have to put another down payment on a different car?

It seem like that is the going rate by most automakers for this feature. I'm in the market for a Honda Pilot and don't really feel like I need a built in navigation system, but people who have it tell me that I will regret it later if I don't get this feature. I guess it is a nice luxury item. I'd like to get other opinions. Is it work paying for this feature?

They say that all the terms are the same, but I'm wondering what keeps us from bringing them back the car a month older with 2500 miles on it? And at what point is it final if they can do this a month later? I had already signed the big long sheet with all the terms, the bank name and all that on it...what are my rights here? I live in TX if it matters, and please don't respond without some sort of references.

I'm getting pressure from the dealer saying he's "holding back other prospective buyers".

I need to call him today ASAP, he's a little high pressure, but we were approved for the loan ONLY for this particular 2001 Toyota Solara Converitble

Any help getting a "free" report would be so... appreciated.
Thanks

car is worth $12,000 and seller is asking $9,000. I'd like to get a little back for taxes, title, registration, etc. can the bank cut a check to the seller, and a check to me? I know they can put a lien for the whole value of the car (100% loan to value), but can the money go elsewhere as well?

Over the weekend we traded in our van and purchased another vehicle.
The trade in was paid off so I needed to bring in the title.
While I was there, the business manager says I need to bring in my wife and sign another contract because they needed to raise the interest rate by a half a point.
I said h3ll no, we got a deal and basically we got into an argument.
So I threw the keys on the desk, told him to rip up the previous contract and give me my van back.
That's when I was informed that it was already sold to a wholesaler who in turn sold it to someone else.
How can this legally be done? Looking to get a good lawyer now.

Here's the deal: I have a used car that I am paying $320 a month (for a used car this is a bit much). I can afford this however but I'd just like to cut my monthly bills. Although all 24 months have been paid for (so 24 months left). The total lease was for 48 months. Do I talk to the car dealer I bought my car from or do I just start re-searching for a refinancing company?

I know used car dealers usually trade in different cars to have more variety but do they just buy cars too? I'm trying to sell one but I want to try to sell it to a dealer because it seems like I would get paid what it's worth.

I am selling my car to a relative. The sale price is $5,000.00. They are putting down $1,000.00, then making payments of $500 per month until the balance is paid (8 total).

I have prepared a promissary note, etc. for legal purposes. Should I hold on to the title until I am paid in full? Reason tells me "yes", but how should documentation (DMV, etc.) be handled in the interim, so that the relative can legally use the car for the next 8 months?
