Trying to figure out if its worth it to finance and sell in two years or just lease. I don't want to owe the bank money when I sell and Idd like to use it as a down payment for the next car.

In only two years you will owe the bank money. It takes about four to start breaking even. Lease the car if you only want it for two years and dont want to owe any money.

Goto yahoo autos to determine a good estimate of depreciation costs.

From the chart you can see that the depreciation will be $14128 for two years. So the $53K car will be worth about $39K in 2 years, which means that if you put down $13K as a down payment ($3351 would go to pay taxes if you purchased), and 2 years worth of payments, you'll probably be able to sell the car for approximately what you owe on it.

I dont think that what you buy it for or how much you put down will have anything to with what the vehicle will be worth in 2 years.

Check out http://www.swapalease.com or http://www.leasetrader.com and take over someone else's lease. There's no drive-off fees and the transfer fees are usually paid by the seller. Some also offer cash incentives.
