do some research on http://www.edmunds.com/ and check out their True Market Value I also recommend using http://www.intellichoice.com/
it will show you the Invoice price, the retail(MSRP) price,
and the target price you should be paying for it.

Consumer Reports has a service for a small fee where they will send you details of what the dealer cost is on certain cars and option costs so you can determine what amount of profit you are willing to pay the dealer over cost. One fee per vehicle.

That sounds like too much. You have to go to Edmond's and get offer from several deaLerships to get the best price. i just purchased a Camry le with a v6 and paid 21 .300 = tax title etc. you have to do your homework. Go to dealer just to check out colors and see car in person. But do your real shopping on line . They sell in volume on line so you can save more $$ and they compete for your sale!

$15,475.00 If you don't buy it, somebody else will, they don't need to discount to sell them. Wait for the new models to hit the lot, and get the year-end rebate on a new last year Yaris, if there are any left on the lot.

i do not work for a toyota dealership, but i do work for a honda dealership, i would say, that the dealership would take a rock bottom price of around 13,500, but i would not spend more than 14,200 on that car.
