I am looking to get a small SUV in the near future. I want something affordable that gets good gas mileage. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I am just getting over my credit problems that i have suffered for several years now. NO ONE told me the horrors of getting credit cards at 18! I digress; i feel its time for me to treat myself to something nice. Granted my credit is not perfect, but its decent. So with that I would like to get a new car, perferably a sports car. These are my top 3 choices! What is the best for the money, the dependability, and of course the long haul? My eyes are telling me the 2-seater convertables, but my head is telling me a hardtop...

Other than ANYTHING AMERICAN MADE... is there any kind of car-make out there that everyone seems to hate? Does anything foreign turn anyone off?

So far I've been able to tell that Ford, and Chev are toast regarding most people's opinions.

i thought i recently purchased a car. however, i found out that after the dealership let me leave with the car and i've had it for almost a month now, that the finance company declined my loan. Does the dealership have the right repossess the car even though they let me have the car without fully securing the financing for it?

I dont think quality is an issue. Ford, GM, and Crysler all put out very nice looking vehicles.

My eighteen yr old daughter is interested in this blk 1999 5 speed Ford Escort LX for sale for $1500? The car slid of the ice and bounced into trees nearly falling into a lake.there are dents all over the left side and the right.not the back.the dents are were the windows connect into the car.the windsheild has a larg crack and the drivers mirror is gone.The milage is 125,000 on a 99.
The spoiler underneath is cracked or torn.The hood looks great. my question is it worth it.I haven't test driven it yet but i will today.the owner said his daughter drove it fine after that inncident.
car slid on ice bounced off trees comming to a stop buy a tree.The doors still opens.the interior is very clean.Is it worth it?

I'm buying a car on Friday & my dad has just agreed I can use his old car to part ex against the cost. He cannot be there on the day I go to collect so my question is this: can I sell his car to the motor company when the logbook shows him as the owner? He seems to think that if he signs the form & gives me a cover note explaining what we are doing this will be acceptable? Not sure myself & I dont want to get all the way over there & be told this is a no go. Thanks for your help x
