By law the dealer is required to show you when you ask. You WILL get a lot of haggling since they don't want you to know what your bargaining power is. My suggestion is to go to kbb.com (free) or ConsumerReports.org (free for 30 days) to obtain the invoice price yourself so you have the upper-hand when walking through the door.

Having the price when you walk in will save you a lot of time, frustration and hassle from the money-hungry dealer!

Hope this helps!

In the United States, it is federal law for all dealers to put the total invoice price of a vehicle on a paper on the window. The paper also has the model, options, and other info such as gas mileage. The complete invoice price is on the lower right of the page.

If by 'invoice price', you mean the price that the dealership paid for the car, you're not going to find that- especially for a TL. Those are in high demand, and if you want one, 90% of the time you are going to be paying the invoice price printed on the window sticker.

Go to www.yahoo.com and click on autos, then click on "build a car" or something similar to that.

Check out the dealer's web page and know which options the car has, and then build the same car on yahoo.

Otherwise you just have to ask the dealer for the invoice.

You ask the dealer to show you the invoice, by law, they have to show you, it's covered under public rights to information. If the dealer quaffs, contact your state's licensing agency that handles dealer services.

You think you might just ASK them? Surely they would just come right and SHOW you!
