My husband and I had an SUV but we wanted to trade it in for a van, a Honda Odyssey...My husband wanted to pay off our SUV first and then decide later if we wanted to trade it in for a van. Im really confused and need your wise advice.

I'd like to know the pros and cons of buying a hybrid car. What are some things I should know? Any models that perform better than others? How do they compare in price to their non-hybrid counterparts? If anyone has a hybrid, I'd like your opinion on the drive, convenience, value, problems, etc.

I currently own a 2001 Ford Escape. I am interested in trading out of my vehicle into a smaller, more gas efficient car. The problem I run into though is negative equaity (or an upside down loan). I owe less than $14,000 on it but it has been appraised anywhere between $5,000-$8,5000 which leaves me anywhere from $5,500-$9,000 to put towards the new vehicle. I have no money to put down and I think I've visited just about every car dealer in Virginia and can't quite find the price range I'd like to be in. I work full-time and also go to college full-time so I really don't have a lot of free time for a second job to support that large payment. Is there any advice or deals that anyone knows of with new cars? Any help would be great. Thanks! :)

I presently drive a 89 tempo 4dr. I recently spent 800 to fix fuel pump and starter and two weeks later the car wouldn't start. works okay now but am taking it back to my garage this week to check it out. the car's a/c does not work (had to replace it last year -used part from wrecker and I think would be too expensive to get the a/c working again) The power locks on the front passenger door do not work anymore. My widows are manual roll down

The other day i was looking around at used car lots. I found a nice 87 tempo 4 dr(2yrs older than the one I drive).. This car looks in great shape. It has a/c, pl, pw, etc. The milage is quite low at 130,000 (which is around 100,000 lower than the one I drive now) - was owned by an older couple

Can't say I am a big ford fan, but I've had not a bad experiece with my tempo - faily reliable car.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me which car is a better buy: a toyota corolla or a nissan sentra??? Both cars will be between the years of 2000 and 2005. i am 16 and i am buying car and i am confused about these two cars. i dont know if i should buy the camryLE with 75,000 or the ford taurus SEL with 55,000. both have maintenance records. i have heard that taurses are very problematic is this true. please do not give me a lecture on teen drivers that should get cheap crappy cars because they wreck them easily which i know that it is not true on 85% of them. only 15 % are jackass teen drivers.
