I bought a car about three years ago under a loan and can't remember whether the bank sent me a title or not. So right now I don't have the title in my posession and I want to sell the car. This is in Virginia

In other words, if I sell a car to a salvage yard so they can sell the parts/tires/glass, etc. (in my case, the car is in good shape but the engine is bad), what price should I request/expect for it?
Thanks

I checked out the value in the Kelly Blue Book web site for a 1994 Ford Explorer, XLT. It is in good condition, runs well with new tires, etc....the book price was $3200. I am going to sell it outright and not trade it in so how do I know what is an actual fair price? Isn't the blue book just suggested quotes?

OK.
i agree, u wanna test drive the car b4 u buy it. rite?
SO
wha if the car looks good, in good shape, n u like it, ur happy with it, u like all the features in it, everything about the car, like it was just made for you..n u r basically in lov with it.
BUT
there's one thing. only it feels like it has so many mileages, cuz it's so obvious to u that the owner is lying about reversing the metter. cuz the owner is telling' you the car's been on long drives few times before, but at same time they claim it has very low mileages.(very low)(?).

AND
you talk to the owner, about it. and they keep denying it.. (n keep saying' this is the actual mileages)n it's making you crazy..cuz this is not the first time you buying a car.........

==WHAT DO YOU DO THEN?????

BUY IT? (cuz u really lov it, and want it?)

OR, NOT? (cuz u feel like the owner is lying to you)

My friend has almost finished making all the payments but had the car transfered into someone else's name because of issues with credit. The person whose name it is under now refuses to transfer it back even though he has not paid a cent toward the car. is there any way to get the car back into my friend's name?

I am looking to buy a new vehicle. I don't like small cars and can't afford the gas for a SUV. Any ideas on something in between would be HUGHLY appreciated.
